What an absolute pile of garbage plot the showrunners have come up with. The pacing suks. All fights are set up wonderfully but MC never gets anything done. No redemption for him. Wasted opportunity.

Makes no sense if you think about it, her main goal wasn’t even to help him defeat the demon she just appeared to fake her death to the kid.

I also hope that's not the case. But when he woke up he sounded like he's forgetting something.
Plus she fake her death so it's literally not going to make any sense. Unless they add something like she wanted to meet him and say goodbye for the 1 last time. I think she came to help him as well cuz' she was protecting him from the very start. If u remember, she helped him to absorb those Sacred Flames.
